Q: Can my ID be mailed to my
home address?
A: No, someone at your campus
site will need to see a photo ID
to verify you are receiving the
correct ID.
Q: What if I want to wear
my ID card as a badge?
A: This is a service we provide
only for faculty and staff. If
you would like this service,
please indicate so in your email
request.
Q: Is there any charge for
having my ID made?
A: No, there is no charge
to have your ID created.
Q: Can I use my ID card
at the Troy Library like a
“swipeable” ID detector?
A: These ID’s are not swipeable. You can use
them to check out books, but instruct the person
assisting you that they will
have to manually enter your
number from the front of your card.
Q: Will my Social Security
Number appear on my ID
card?
A: No, only your DATATEL number will appear on the
Card. We ask for your S.S.# to verify your identity.
Q: If I am in Troy can I have my ID made at the Troy campus?
A: The Troy campus is set up to create ID’s for Troy campus students. Students who attend outside the state of Alabama or are a student through Distance Learning need to have their ID’s created through this process.
NOTE: This is not the same card as the TrojanOne Debit Card.
What should I do if I lose my Trojan ID card?
Contact your Home Site for a replacement.
